Project objectives:

Security of the warehouse system using the MOBILE STORE® ONLINE software package and the ABRA G3 information system.

Project description:

Using CipherLab CPT-8570L data terminals connected via WiFi Access Points to the MOBILE STORE® ONLINE system, the receipt and dispatch of material from the warehouse, transfer of items between warehouses and inventory of goods is secured.

The labels are printed on an Argox A-150 thermal transfer printer and then selected stock is marked. For some goods, barcodes given by the manufacturer or supplier are also used. The barcodes are scanned by CipherLab CPT-8570L terminals equipped with a barcode reader. Using the proprietary system in the terminals, we can create warehouse receipts just as if we were sitting at a computer equipped with the appropriate software. The terminal processes the scanned data and sends it to the MOBILE STORE® ONLINE system, which transfers the data to the ABRA® ERP system using the AbraOLE interface.

Receipt at the warehouse

The data collection is done by displaying the code, name and price on the terminal after scanning the barcode on the goods. The receipt is paired with the issued order, which can be changed during the work. After the document has been successfully saved to ABRY's MOBILE STORE® ONLINE application on the specified printer, the provided printout of the stock receipt prints.

Discharge from stock

The customer and the store employee select the items in the warehouse, which the employee picks with the barcode scanner terminal and enters the number of items. When creating the document header, it is also possible to enter the order and the business case. When filtering the displayed list (customers, orders and business cases) from ABRA, it is possible to search full-text in the terminal. Within the document header, the warehouseman has to decide whether it is an invoice sale, a cash sale or an internal delivery note. When the document is completed, a print report is printed on the specified printer according to the provided template and the following conditions:

Sales on invoice or internal document - only the delivery note is created and printed

Cash sales - a delivery note is created and a cash receipt tied to it, only cash sales are printed

The order specified in the header of the new document can be changed during the work by pressing FN+7. The entered order number is then stored in the "Description" field in the ABRA system. The header of the form will display the line number that is currently being created, so that the number of lines of the current document can be determined.

Warehouse returns

After a new return has been created in the terminal and processed by MOBILE STORE® ONLINE, the document is printed according to the template provided. The order and business case from the source delivery note are added to the return.

Inventory

The terminal selects the specific warehouse where the inventory is to be taken. Using the terminal, the operator takes the item code and enters the number of items found. The data is then imported into the ABRA system, which evaluates the system and actual stock levels.
