Barcode implementation usually requires the deployment of a portable terminal for on-line connection to the ERP system database. In the warehouse solution shown in the video, Cipherlab 9730 terminals were used and the solution was implemented for the POHODA warehouse system.

The warehouseman uses the terminal to scan the barcode for input or output operations, the ERP system works then works with the collected data from the terminal and feeds it into the ERP system.

The creation of documents on the terminal is intuitive and routine, and the warehouseman will use the same process for loading, unloading, transfers, returns or other types of documents.

The work begins with the user logging in and selecting the document header (supplier, customer, etc.) and, if necessary, the document number with a link to the document being created in the terminal. After that, the barcode (stock items) and quantity scanning follows,
as can be seen in the video.
