The RS31 series touch mobile computer is a touch-oriented smartphone with built-in multi-touch panel operating on the Android operating system. Compared to its predecessor RS30, the RS31 is faster, more robust, and has the newest version of the operating system, with all the other features retained. It is also equipped with a better DragontrailTM Glass, which makes it HIGHLY scratch-resistant (eg. while wearing it in the pocket with the keys). The large range of temperatures at which the RS31 is fully functional allows the device to be used in very cold or very hot environments. For automated data collection, it uses the 1D / 2D barcode reader and the RFID, as well as the NFC, reader.
