CipherLab RK25 mobile terminals may experience malfunction of the barcode scanner. These are FW SDC scanners with the need for license activation. A scanner without an activated license reports unavailability of Reader Service.
Follow this procedure to activate the SDC:
- Reboot the device.
- Connect it to the Internet after the start and check the time and date settings.
- Use the SDC app to activate the license.
- In Reader Config, verify scanner functionality and activation in About.
- Check for system updates.
