Mobile Store® is a solution from CODEWARE ready for the implementation of barcodes into ABRA information systems.

CODEWARE, s.r.o., a supplier of barcode and RFID technologies and integrator of these technologies into information systems, and ABRA Software, a.s., a supplier of ABRA information systems, have signed a mutual partnership agreement for the implementation of barcodes into the warehouse modules of ABRA information systems. CODEWARE has been developing the Mobile Store® warehouse system for four years. Customers who have implemented Mobile Store® have been able to significantly reduce errors and increase the turnover of their goods within a short period of time .

Mobile Store® software provides the ability to access warehouse information or create warehouse documents from anywhere in the world. The reading device in the Mobile Store® system acts as a separate device in the network and the stock information is displayed on the display of this device. The warehouseman can easily create receipts, dispatches or transfers using the reading device.

From a system perspective, Mobile Store® is an application server that communicates with the reading devices using the Dispatcher software. Non-existent stock cards are kept track of by the Notifier program for receipts, which allows the remote creation of new stock items. The entire system is protected by access rights that can be set to allow the system to copy theaccess rights set in the ABRA information system or to work under the access rights set in the Mobile Store®.

The Mobile Store ® software can be used to prepare receipts, expenses, transfers or to verify individual warehouse documents against the corresponding orders or to carry out inventories.

The main idea of the system is based on the simple control of portable terminals with a dreambarcode scanner, so that the warehouseman is able to create a warehouse document with a few keystrokes on the terminal. The Mobile Store® system is also capable of operating a barcode printer.

As an example of the location-independence of the entire system, one of Mobile Store®'s customers has an ABRA information system that canwalls some 30 km from the warehouse premises, where warehouse staff receive and dispense goods via data terminals with barcode scanners while using data from the ABRA system. Receipts are automatically created in the ABRA system in real time as they are loaded, and dispatches are also immediately reflected in the system. In the described case, the warehouse is covered by a WiFi signal and is connected via VPN to a remote server where the system is installed.

In a similar way, it is possible to have warehouses anywhere in the world connected to the server and record warehouse movements in real time with receipts, dispatches or transfers that are automatically generated in the system.

The Mobile Store ® system allows you to work with batches and serial numbers.

For the hardware backend, mainly Cipherlab portable WiFi terminals and Argox barcode printers are used to deal with prints at goods receipt.
